Dec 2, 2022 · I doubt this is just a coincidence, it feels very purposeful in its color design, though I’m still trying to work out exactly what director Tom Tykwer wanted to convey with that color scheme because those colors have very different meanings and don’t exactly align with that idea, but maybe someone can chime in more on that.

Jul 14, 2018 · Its in my top 10 films actually. I saw the film in 2009 and was blown away. The film has such texture, the costume, make up, cinematography, framing.. watching it you can almost smell the rotting fish on the streets of Paris.
