I think that the spawn coincides with a full moon during the right water temp but I could be wrong but from what I’ve witnessed the most active spawning burbot happened during a full moon cycle all day and all night for about 3-4 days.

Jan 10, 2020 · If your specifically looking for a night bite, lake of the woods might not be the best option. I've never fished LOTW, but my understanding of it is the water is very, very stained, which makes finding your bait at night very difficult.
