Idk why there isn't a proper hot chicken place here, seems like the perfect market. Got the two tender plate combo, hot, with Mac n cheese and fries. Quality of chicken was fine, massive juicy pieces. The finish wasn't right.

I’m a Boltons stan & the real tip is that their hot catfish sammach is better than any hot chicken. Controversial opinion maybe but that’s the one meal I’d miss the most if I ever moved away from here. One catfish sammach w one medium hot chicken on a stick gets er done.

This article has a picture of Bill Purcell’s TN State Resolution which names “Princes Hot Chicken” the best restaurant in Tennessee in 1996. I think Prince’s changed the name from Prince’s BBQ Chicken Shack to Prince’s Hot Chicken in the 80’s.
