Before this fight I’d have given Jones the edge, but now, I reckon it could go either way. Ngannou is a super athlete, he can tag you.

Dec 6, 2017 · Ngannou does have some legit natural power though, by MMA standards especially. Unlike a boxer who has been refining the technique and mechanics of a punch since they were kids, Ngannou does seem to be more freakish brute force.

May 26, 2021 · For a short amount of time. Wrestling is the grind. Constant pressure and working that's build over years. It would drain Francis much quicker then Brock. Same with high level striking and recovery time in between combo's and rounds. Francis would fall somewhere in between the middle for both. Crazy strong at both.

Oct 28, 2023 · Francis for me, Fury looked horrendous. Barely outlanded Francis and when he did, there wasn't much of anything behind it. I think realistically the best I could do for Fury would be a draw with the KD considered.

Needless to say, getting hit by either Ngannou or Tyson REALLY hurts.

Jan 6, 2024 · When Fury tried to do that to Ngannou, Ngannou was so strong, he could stand up straight, and sometimes picked Fury up. I think Ngannou strength made Fury a little bit wary, and I also don't think fury was 100% in that fight. I think both Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder left "a little bit of themselves" behind forever, after their three fights.
