In standard mode, any graphics rendered on the dedicated GPU go through the integrated GPU in order to be displayed on the display. Theoretically this comes with a performance hit, but it's debatable if the impact is noticeable in use.

Aug 21, 2021 · The options are Asus Tuf or Msi Suprim X. The price is the same. I never had their gpus before, so i don't know. Case can fit either one and PSU can handle 3 8pins. Asking because Tuf is like...a budget option from asus and suprim is top end from msi. Who has better build quality and less painful rma usually ? Thanks!

Sep 16, 2022 · Oh it's the mux switch, when you switch to ultimate and restart, it disables integrated gpu (usually intel) This increases performance in games, especially in high fps games. There's a catch though, with integrated gpu disabled, your actual gpu will eat battery much faster so, use accordingly.

Jan 31, 2022 · I've never had an ASUS GPU, but I've had several ASUS Motherboards, laptops, tablets. Nothing lasted more than 3 years without issues. My main desktop computer had an ASUS Motherboard, top of the line X99-Deluxe. it had some slight but workable issues after year one, after 5 years it just flat out died and is un-repairable.

Jul 20, 2023 · It's stupid and counterintuitive af. But then again we're talking asus here, so im not surprised lol. Why would you have a red led on (which in 90% of cases when it comes to pc building means there's an issue) instead of actually doing the opposite, like if the cable is fully seated and the gpu has the right amount of power the led turns off.

Download latest BIOS from Asus website. It will ask you to restart after the BIOS is updated. (MOST IMPORTANT) 4. Go to ARMOURY CRATE > DEVICE > SYSTEM > GPU Power Saving > iGPU Mode > Turn off. Basically if you're iGPU is set on Auto, this will cause the switch from GPU to IGPU to extend battery life.
