Apr 4, 2007 · Then use the roofing square, which I would suggest is the BEST way to tackle ANY roof. EVERY single cut on any roof is on the square if you know where to look. So many other uses too like drawing circles, setting out octagons, stairs, bay window hip roofs, hip drop and backing angles, herringbone strutting, and even checking if things are square!

Jan 16, 2021 · Membrane for your roof depends on what type of roofing you'll about to do. I went for a cheap shed felt (bad mistake). Had to rip it out and put quality stuff instead and never bothered with membrane or underlay but my shed is vented just below the roof. If unheated few frosty days in a row would equal temperatures inside and out.
