The National Weather Service’s forecast for tomorrow calls for highs to only reach the upper 20s with partly sunny skies during the day. Cloud cover will increase Tuesday night with a slight chance for snow showers to develop after midnight. Overnight lows will drop to around 22 degrees.

In the foothills, Golden is forecast to break its current record high for Feb. 3 by more than 10 degrees, National Weather Service forecasters said.

Over the next 48 hours, a combination of frigid arctic air and moderate-to-heavy snow showers will keep the winter weather going.

A few records may fall on Monday, with a warm start to the workweek and mostly sunny skies over the Front Range in the Denver weather forecast.

Temperatures in Denver were expected to climb to 59 degrees and fall to 32 overnight Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
