Kevin Pietersen feels that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma can serve India for another couple of years. Rohit and Kohli will make a return to the Indian team for the England ODIs before they get ready for the Champions Trophy.

The Champions Trophy 2025 starts from February 19 and India will play the high-octane clash with arch-rivals Pakistan on February 23 at the Dubai International stadium in Dubai. India will certainly start as one of the hot favourites.

India head coach Gautam Gambhir placed his faith on batting icons Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to play "massive roles" in the Champions Trophy and said they add "so much value" to the team and the country`s cricketing landscape in general.

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly backed senior India batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to return to form during the ICC tournament. Ganguly also felt that India are not the outright favourites to lift the ICC title.
