Newly hired to oversee the New Orleans Pelicans, Joe Dumars wouldn't commit to the futures of Zion Williamson or Willie Green in his 1st press conference.

NBA insiders Marc Stein and Jake Fischer reported over the weekend that the "early word" out of New Orleans in the early stages of the Dumars era was that the new appointee "wants to evaluate his new situation fully before deciding to outright shop Williamson."

Once the season was over, David Griffin was released from his duties as the team's executive vice president of basketball operations. Detroit Pistons legend Joe Dumars was selected to replace Griffin and try to take the team to the promised land.
