The violent deaths, including of a Border Patrol agent in Vermont, a landlord in California, and a couple in Pennsylvania, have led law enforcement to a group with obscure ideas.

The group, which espouses rationalist philosophy, are connected to at least 6 homicides in the U.S., potentially including the slayings of a member's parents in Chester Heights.

Jack Lasota, 34, who allegedly leads a group of a few dozen followers known as Zizians, was arrested on Sunday alongside Michelle Zajko, 32, and Daniel Blank, 26, on charges including trespassing and obstruction.
