NASCAR star Kyle Larson has started this year on a hot streak and will try to keep it going in Sunday's Daytona 500 on FOX.

Kyle Busch is not alone in the category of Great Drivers Who Haven’t Won the Daytona 500. Included in that club are Terry Labonte, Tony Stewart & Kyle Larson.

Kyle Larson’s early-season run continued Friday, but not on dirt or asphalt. This win came on the water. Led by Larson’s oldest son, Owen, Team Larson won the annual Hot Rods & Reels charity fishing tournament in Lake Lloyd inside the Daytona International Speedway infield.

The 10-year-old pulled a 4.58-pound fish from Lake Lloyd located inside Daytona International Speedway to put the Larson team on top. Basking in the celebratory moment, Owen didn't like his dad's chances of earning his own celebration with a Daytona 500 victory.

A Daytona Duel big one ended the second duels race Thursday. It involved aNASCAR Cup Series champion and a highly touted rookie. Coming to the checkered flag in the second qualifying race, rookie Shane van Gisbergen tried to make a move to the outside and was not clear of Christopher Bell.
