Packers pay in free agency for missed picks in 2021 draft
The Green Bay Packers signing offensive lineman Aaron Banks and cornerback Nate Hobbs four years after missing on picks in the 2021 draft is certainly not a coincidence. Failing in the NFL draft and having to spend big money signing players in free agency is a connected system, and the Packers in 2025 are a useful example.
