Homestead High School’s current principal, Susan Summers, plans to retire at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.

Southwest Allen County Schools has named a new principal for Homestead High School, the district announced Tuesday.

Budget season is in full force in West Springfield. On April 2, the School Committee approved a $58.1 million school budget for fiscal year 2026, a $1.7 million increase from FY25.

The Taylor County Clerk's Office also congratulated the students and confirmed that Grafton High School won the Jennings Randolph Award for Civic Engagement.
