Nearly 400 people — most of whom were Vietnam veterans — gathered on the 50th anniversary of the end of U.S. involvement in Vietnam War.

On Saturday, the nation honored Vietnam War veterans. It's an annual commemoration marking the day U.S. military assistance command Vietnam was disestablished in 1975. According to the Defense Department, that was the same day when the last U.S. combat troops departed Vietnam.
