A judge who blocked President Donald Trump’s attempt to expedite deportations of gang members once participated in a mock trial with former Vice-President Kamala Harris’ husband — and he is not the only judge stonewalling Trump’s orders that has a conflict of interest.

The temporary restraining order is aimed at protecting migrants from deportation to countries other than those identified in immigration proceedings.

Federal Judge James Boasberg ordered an extension of a temporary restraining order against deportation flights implemented by the Trump administration using the Alien Enemies Act. Boasberg has been at the center of MAGA fury this month as he has presided over the case involving the administration's deportation of migrants through President Donald Trump's implementation of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.
