Hundreds of species need wetlands to breed, forage and rest. When wetlands are destroyed, birds are usually the first to noticeably die off.

Workers showcased their pothole patcher for KY3 News on Monday. Instead of workers having to shovel the mixture, the pothole patcher does the work for them. It sprays gravel and oil into the hole.
