The town of Glenville is preparing to introduce a new school bus safety initiative for the Scotia-Glenville School District.

The warning period before the full enforcement of the school bus stop arm in Syracuse will go into effect on April 21.

Since the grant program started in 2022, OTS has awarded more than $15 million toward school bus stop arm cameras. That funding will have equipped 8,000 school buses statewide with camera systems.
