Salman Rushdie appeared in a court on Tuesday, where he confronted the man who is suspected of almost murdering him.

Salman Rushdie is expected to come face to face with the man accused of attempting to murder him in court today. The Satanic Verses author is likely to appear as a witness in the case, more than two years after he was stabbed more than a dozen times in a frenzied knife attack which left him blind in one eye.
