Accused assassin Luigi Mangione was indicted on federal charges Thursday and charged with two counts of stalking, a firearms offense, and murder with a firearm. If convicted on the final count, Mangione could be eligible for the death penalty.

Mangione was indicted in U.S. District Court in New York on four charges, one of which makes him eligible for the death penalty if convicted.

Attorney General Pam Bondi moved forward aggressively and ordered prosecutors to seek the death penalty. Mangione also faces state charges in the Manhattan shooting.
