The New England Patriots appear to be zeroing in on their next defensive coordinator. According to a report by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, the team of head coach Mike Vrabel is “targeting” Detroit Lions assistant Terrell Williams for the open position.

Terrell Williams, who Dan Campbell has described as the NFL's best defensive line coach, has left the Lions to become the DC in New England.
