Washington County celebrated the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord with the unveiling of a new statue at Liberty Village on Saturday, April 19.

The Gilded Age ended in the worst economic depression to date. Effects of the Panic of 1893 lingered until 1897.
