Itasha wraps are colorful, high-impact car designs that feature beloved characters from anime, manga, or video games.

Case in point: Isuzu is getting in on the fun for the Bangkok International Motor Show, debuting the one-off “Dragon Max” pickup based off a lowly TFR Space Cab from the late 1980s.

The Isuzu Dragon Max is based on the 1988 TFR Space Cab pickup, which was nicknamed the Dragon in Thailand due to its model year introduction, the year of the Dragon in Chinese zodiacs.
