DENVER — Former Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony has been elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025, according to multiple sources. ESPN and other media reported his election on Wednesday morning.

Melo was one of the great bucket-getters the game has seen, an NCAA champion at Syracuse, who won three Olympic gold medals.
