The Deebo Samuel era officially came to an end Wednesday when the San Francisco 49ers announced a handful of roster moves, including the trade that will send Samuel to the Washington Commanders. Trades and roster moves could be made official as of 1:00pm Pacific Time on Wednesday.

The San Francisco 49ers are going to have a much different look in 2025 than they have for the past few seasons. Though the 2024 campaign was a major disappointment, the core of that 49ers roster had still been to a Super Bowl the year prior.
