Police said a male victim was brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb 2. Before the shooting happened, the victim and another person were attending the party and walked outside.

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested a man connected to a deadly shooting that happened in 2022. Police identified Joseph Jacobs, 31, as a suspect after 21-year-old Frederick Harris was shot in the 1800 block of Birch Street on March 28, 2022. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
