Just like India, Snapdragon is breaking barriers and disrupting global markets, Qualcomm said today while launching Snapdragon X, its latest and most affordable chip for laptops. And so, the potential for India and the growth of Snapdragon seems inevitable and heavily reliant on one another.
Qualcomm on Monday (February 24, 2025) launched the Snapdragon X platform for personal computers (PCs) having AI capabilities in the Indian market with a focus on ‘making PCs cool again for the Indian youth and that are more affordable.’
In collaboration with Croma (a leading consumer electronics retail chain), the Experience Zone is now open at the Croma Store in Juhu, Mumbai.
Qualcomm sees an opportunity to grow in the PC market in India, where personal computer penetration remains low.
The alliance will promote and contribute documentation and use cases, collaborating with other standardization efforts.
Qualcomm is also expanding its retail footprint with a new offline Experience Zone at Croma in Mumbai and a partnership with Flipkart Minutes, enabling 10-minute delivery of Snapdragon X laptops.
