Andrei Kuzmenko was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers by the Calgary Flames for Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee on Thursday. The Flyers also acquired Jakob Pelletier, a second-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft and a seventh-round pick in the 2028 Draft.
The Flyers are moving Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost in a trade with the Flames, a source confirmed Thursday night to NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Farabee and Morgan Frost (undisclosed) were traded to the Flames from the Flyers on Thursday in exchange for Jakob Pelletier, Andrei Kuzmenko, a 2025 second-round pick and a 2028 seventh-round pick, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
Farabee and Laughton will welcome guests ahead of the Flyers' annual Pride game on Tuesday. "It’s all about bringing people together and putting smiles on people’s faces," Farabee said.
Farabee scored a goal in Monday's 4-2 win over the Devils. Farabee has two goals and three assists over six contests since he was scratched for three games earlier in the month. It appears that stint in the press box helped get the 24-year-old's play back on track.

In the end, this is not a perfect trade for the Flames, either. They get two players who could work out for them in the long run. In the same vein as how Kuzmenko and Pelletier could work for the Flyers. Until that happens, though, it's hard to give them the highest of grades.
