The mother of the police officer who was killed while responding to a shooting at a Pennsylvania hospital is speaking out. It comes as investigators work to figure out the motive behind the attack. NBC News’ Maya Eaglin has the latest.
The suspect, Diogenes Archangel Ortiz, entered the hospital with handgun and zip ties Saturday morning and took several staff members hostage, state officials said.
