Ski resorts in the central Sierra Nevada have received multiple feet of snow in the first half of February, thanks to recent winter storms. The new snow has created great conditions for skiing and snowboarding, representatives for ski resorts in the greater Lake Tahoe area told The Bee on Friday.

With plenty of snow falling in the Sierra the last several days, people are preparing to hit the slopes. KCRA 3 was joined on Friday morning by representatives from Palisades Tahoe, Heavenly Ski Resort and Bear Valley.
