One of the more puzzling parts of the trade deadline earlier this month was when the Lakers announced that their trade to acquire big man Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets was rescinded just 48 hours after it was announced.

Spurned by the Los Angeles Lakers due to a failed physical and returned to the Hornets following the agreed upon Feb. 6 deal for Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish and draft pick compensation prior to the NBA trade deadline, Williams has been on quite the ride lately.
