But after the list was initially published, many buildings, including all in D.C. and most in Maryland and Virginia, were removed from the list Tuesday night without explanation, leaving only 320 properties. By Wednesday morning, the entire list was removed and a “coming soon” label added.

PBS officials initially claimed selling buildings on the “non-core” assets list could yield more than $430 million in annual operational savings. They also said courthouses, land ports of entry and defense and law enforcement facilities would be retained.

The initial list included nearly 744,000 square feet of building space at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood and a notable building in Denver’s Golden Triangle neighborhood.
