The little boy who was hit and killed by a school bus in Hyde Park on Monday afternoon has been identified. Lens A. Joseph, 5, of Hyde Park, was named as the victim of the fatal crash, according to the Boston Police Department.

The little boy who was hit and killed by a school bus in Boston was identified by his family Tuesday as 5-year-old Lens Arthur.He was hit by the bus on Washington Street in Hyde Park Monday afternoon on his way home from kindergarten at the UP Academy Charter School.

The child was struck by a school bus Monday afternoon in Hyde Park and taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
