A minor earthquake was reported in Tennessee Friday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A small earthquake shook Dyer County on Thursday afternoon. The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 2.8 quake struck at 3:23 p.m. about five miles west of Dyersburg.
