The township of Wayne is seeking a nonprofit to build an affordable housing project on Valley Road. The 9.5-acre property, which partially lies in a flood-hazard area, was donated to the township.

A man died after his car crashed into a tree in downtown Walnut Creek early Saturday morning, according to city police.
