Two people are in custody following a quadruple shooting that left two dead and two others injured in Kansas City, Kansas.

Fatal shootings and homicides in Kansas City declined in 2024 from a record high the year prior. However, non-fatal shootings still soared and violent crime remained at consistently high levels.
