SAN MARCOS, Calif. — Driving down West San Marcos Boulevard is a hillside with a tarp running down part of it. For residents living on top of that hill, that tarp covers their backyard.
Some 30 minutes up the road from the former "World's Largest Buc-ee's," San Marcos will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new travel center at 2 p.m. January 29, according to a news release.
