The Danville Area School Board unanimously approved the transition of a district assistant principal to principal Wednesday evening, but did not specify where the administrator would be placed.

With about 50 positions currently open, Danville Public Schools hosted a recruitment event Saturday at O.T. Bonner Middle School.
