You can skip dessert. It's already in a new Hot Chicken Takeover sandwich that slaps a fried peach pie on top of the Columbus-born chain's fried chicken.

The Metairie location at 3005 Veterans Boulevard will be the first Chicken Salad Chick to open in the New Orleans area. Chicken Salad Chick will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The opening is scheduled for 22 April 2025, with the first 100 guests to receive free chicken salad for a year.
