Brazil’s former President Jair Bolsonaro was hospitalized for severe abdominal pain related to a wound sustained when he was stabbed on the campaign trail seven years ago.

Bolsonaro's doctors said the pain was caused by complications linked to a knife attack during his presidential campaign in 2018. They said his condition is stable and did not need emergency surgery.
