The Mavericks assigned Davis (thigh) to the G League so he can participate in a second round of 5-on-5 practices with the Texas Legends and will then be recalled, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports.
Davis, who joined the Mavericks in a blockbuster trade that sent Luka Doncic to the Lakers, has been sidelined since Feb. 8.
