A major winter storm blankets the Gulf Coast with record-breaking snowfall, causing widespread closures and travel disruptions from Texas to Florida.

Meteorologists have the highest confidence of snowfall in middle and west Georgia compared to other areas in the state Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service, which means Macon is likely to see snow.
