Danny List, a 26-year-old golfer from Georgia and Ghana who now lives in San Diego, spent more than five hours Thursday playing his first round in his first PGA Tour event.

Tiger Woods committed Friday to playing the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines, marking his first PGA Tour start since last July.

The Genesis Invitational, one of the longest running tournaments on the PGA Tour schedule, is back for another year. It will be played in 2025 at a new venue, however, as Torrey Pines becomes the 12th golf course to host the event.
