SoftBank said in a press release that it plans to automate over 100 million workflows among its companies, which could include generating financial reports, drafting documents, and managing customer inquiries.

OpenAI and SoftBank are teaming up to sell an enterprise AI system in Japan called "Cristal intelligence," powered by agents that help businesses securely use AI in a way that fits their unique needs.

SoftBank has said it will spend $3bn annually to deploy customised AI across its group of companies and also for Japanese companies; the JV is called SB OpenAI Japan.
