If Brock Purdy is slated to command upwards of $60 million annually on his second contract, the San Francisco 49ers should not think twice about letting him walk in favor of drafting his replacement.

Though there have been questions regarding how much Purdy should earn, 49ers legend and Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice confidently believes that Purdy is the "guy" for the franchise, and wants his former team to get an extension done with Purdy as soon as they can.

Brock Purdy's contract extension is the San Francisco 49ers' new top offseason priority now that their defensive and special teams coordinator searches are over. While it would behoove San Francisco to ensure they're getting Purdy's deal done as soon as possible,
