The second peak of an ongoing atmospheric river storm arrived in Northern California Monday afternoon, prompting flood watches and a winter storm warning up in the Sierra.

Parts of Northern California are under a flood watch through Tuesday as an atmospheric river brings heavy rains to a region that’s also anticipating plenty of snow.

An updated winter storm warning was issued by the NWS Eureka CA on Monday at 1:59 p.m. in effect until Wednesday at 4 a.m.
