South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo has been reinstated as the acting president as the Constitutional Court overturned his impeachment.

Han’s impeachment was dismissed in a 5-1 vote by the court’s eight justices, while two justices rejected the motion entirely, according to local media.

South Korean acting President Han Duck-soo on Wednesday called for the public to "calmly and coolly" accept the forthcoming Constitutional Court verdict on the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol.
