The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his band's era-defining "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" by going small, and leaving his fellow Pumpkins behind.
The Smashing Pumpkins “ Aghori Tour ” is headed to Europe. Ticket deals on major third-party ticket websites like SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, StubHub, Viagogo, and TicketCity are available now. The tour supports the band’s latest album, “Aghori Mhori Mei,” released last August, and follows their recent 2023 rock opera “Atum.”
Feldman was a guest on Corgan's The Magnificent Others With Billy Corgan podcast on Wednesday, and they had an awkward but not unpleasant interaction at the start after Corgan told Feldman that it was nice to see him again. "Good to see you again although we've only met once," Feldman responded. Corgan responded, "Not true."
With Oasis reuniting for a stadium tour and the jittery, post-millennial indie rock of Interpol and Editors making a comeback, it’s fitting that the Chameleons – the Manchester group to whom all these groups, as well as artists like Billy Corgan, owe a debt of influence – would also be back in action.
