Lucas Giolito made his second rehab appearance with Triple-A Worcester as the right-handed pitcher looks to return to the Boston Red Sox.

If anything, the injury was more of a nuisance. Giolito missed the 2024 season after undergoing right elbow surgery. He was so eager to return to the mound in March that even after injuring his hamstring, he stayed and threw 24 pitches. Even though his hamstring feels fine now, he’s been out ever since.

Lucas Giolito's latest rehab start went off without a hitch, and the Red Sox right-hander is hopeful it won't be much longer before he's ready to rejoin the big league rotation.
