For the first time in over a month, the Gamecocks baseball team has won three in a row after knocking off No. 11 Ole Miss on Friday afternoon at Founders Park. The 7-2 victory also marked USC’s first SEC series win of the yea r after losing its first five.

The No. 11 Ole Miss baseball team fell in game two of the series against South Carolina by a score of 7-2. The Rebel offense was held to just four hits by Gamecock pitching. Hayden Federico would lead off the game for Ole Miss with a solo blast to left field.
