The latest twist in South Korea's political crisis came Monday with the reinstatement of Prime Minister Han Duck-soo after the Constitutional Court overturned his impeachment in a 7-1 ruling.

The legislature impeached Han Duck-soo in December, soon after impeaching President Yoon Suk Yeol for declaring martial law. Mr. Yoon’s fate is still unclear.

The Constitutional Court reinstated Han Duck-soo as acting President, as a ruling on President Yoon Suk-yeol’s impeachment is still to come.
